Fall Foliage 2019
The foliage is really peaking now. It is a beautiful time of year to come here and enjoy great sunsets, sunrises and amazing foliage.
Fall Fire on the Beach
We had a great time sitting by a fire watching the sunset and the sky change to twilight and then the stars appearing. All of this between 6:30 and 9:00PM. One of the advantages to shorter days!!

Sunset during a severe thunderstorm
As the severe weather alert came over the radio, I looked out the windows to see this sunset in the middle of a thunderstorm. We still have some open dates in July and August. Check out our calendar and book a getaway where magic can happen.

After a nice sunset this rain cloud appeared north of us.
Dogs Love it Here...
This pup discovered that our hayfield can be lots of fun and with 45 acres of land there are plenty of places to have fun.
Every time I watch this it makes me laugh.

This is my favorite photo from last summer. This little guy caught this fish while fishing on the dock with his dad. He was so proud of this catch and excited to tell everyone he caught the biggest fish that day.
Full Moon setting over Isle La Motte
Check out this full moon setting on the morning of 1/2/2018. A couple of years ago, we were staying at our cottage, watching another spectacular sunset, when we turned around and saw and equally spectacular full moon rising in the eastern sky. The next morning I got up early to see the sun rising in the east and looked out the west facing sunroom windows to see the full moon setting in the West. It is a magical location with so much beauty.
